Freewire’s Boost Charger and Battery Cube redefined compact EV charging. Jochen shaped the external design—status lights, interface, cable handling, and serviceability—and contributed to the internal 96-cell Battery Cube. His work included concept development, prototyping, branding, and installation considerations for US and EU markets.

At Benvenue Medical, Jochen advanced minimally invasive spinal repair tools from early models to final devices. He developed access instruments and led the redesign of the KIVA system with new ergonomics, safety features, and deployment methods. The result improved precision and usability for surgeons and radiologists.

The Tablo dialysis platform is widely used in hospitals, clinics, and home care. Jochen designed the Fluidics and Storage carts to improve mobility, access, and water filtration, and refined cartridge design for easier loading and tubing integration. His work enhanced usability through ergonomic design and system schematics.

Owlcam introduced a dual-lens car security camera with a unique mounting system. Jochen developed the compact form, hidden cable routing, customizable beam lengths, and magnetic joint with suction support. A pulsating beacon light completed a design that was simple, versatile, and highly effective.
